ALTERNATIVE SLEEPERS
“Alternative Sleepers” came from my exposure to the clients using the Alternative Sleeping Location in Laguna Beach, CA. I have served as the over-night site supervisor at this facility since February, 2015 and as the clients became comfortable, I began doing digital and oil paintings of the more sleepless guests- with their permission of course.
I find the human face and figure endlessly fascinating. The connection between subject and artist is felt deeply and along with the artistic process itself makes each endeavor meaningful.
